Most places do not recommend ⛔ Mod Managers.

So here’s several ways you can find cc without!

Why are Mod Managers not recommended?

• Old versions definitely create duplicates that start with [D1] and bloat your computer quickly without you realizing it.
• Even if you use it to view items, they don’t always show if there’s a broken mesh or generate proper thumbnails
• Mod Managers can and will “update” your files to an old version of the mod if the mod itself is not updated on curseforge - since they have an approval system. Many mods do not get updated immediately and so you can end up with outdated mods, or parts of a mod that you have deliberately removed and more. </aside>

Also extremely important: DO NOT MERGE FILES! It’s a myth that merging files helps loading times!

The only thing it does is make it harder to find broken CC! Which is why you’re here anyways, so do yourself a favor and stay away from merging. Merged files also tend to break if you leave them in your folder while batch fixing in Sims 4 Studio, so it’s best to unmerge everything.
